会社概要

The soft-sounding Noto,

where the sea, sky, wind, and earth each seem to hold their own unique time,

allows a gentle passage of time.

Noto, which juts out into the sea, is rich in blessings from the mountains and the sea.

It is said that ancient people, grateful for these blessings, respectfully called them "Misaki" (御先), which is believed to be the origin of the current word "Misaki" (岬 - cape).

In old Ainu language, "cape" was called "Notu,"

and it is said that it also carried the meaning of "paradise."

Nurtured by the climate and nature of Noto, we at Iwazumi

continue to make sweets.

Like how the sea, the sky, the wind and the soil

Posses their own unique time,

The echoes of the soft sound of Noto

Gently ripples with a calm rhythm.

Noto jutting out into the ocean

With the fortune from the mountains and seas.

It is said that in old Ainu tongue,

“Notu” means cape and also paradise…

Surrounded by beautiful climate and nature

Continuing to make sweets

Are us, Iwazumi.
